A need for Peace: "Let's accommodate each other for peaceful Society" Angela Uyi says

Like many, do you see the crisis, conflicts and battles around that have hindered the growth of our nation and have felt despondent or sad that nothing can be done about it? Well, together we can change that with the idea and need for peace.

People every where need to be free of fear from all forms of
violence and feel safe as they go about their lives whatever their ethnicity, faith or sexual orientation.

This country is bleeding badly as we are losing the seeds of the future. If we refuse to embrace peace, love and embrace the new tolerance, our future will be made up of only the old  because too many young people who are the investment of the future have lost their lives to crimes, violence and terrorism and many are losing their lives daily.

We have been in mourning and grieving since January. Our tears refused to drop but blood; our Joy of a New Year have been turned Into constant pains; No more merriment but mourning; Our people are being buried beneath the ground like animals yet the bloodletting goes on and on. For how Long are you going to glorify the eternal continuing suffering of the Nigerian people?

I call upon all states in the federal republic of Nigeria to take all necessary and appropriate action, in conformity with international human rights standards, to combat hatred, discrimination, intolerance, violence, intimidation, violation of Human Rights and coercion against any one or any group justified in the name of religion or religious beliefs.

Exercise impartiality in their policies relating to religious affairs in the country.  States should resist calls by members of one religious group to uphold discriminatory measures against those following other religious persuasions, even when these calls are couched in the language of human rights or expressed by groups who themselves have experienced discrimination.

We must all take action and build a peaceful Society for all because armed violence and insecurity have a destructive impact on a country’s development, it affects economic growth and resulting in prolonged grievances among societies.

As a people, instead of taking laws into our hands, we should demand easy access to the justice system to seek protection and redress that unresolved conflicts can be resolved

Government Institutions must function according to legitimate laws to prevent arbitrariness and abuse of power, and deliver public services to everyone effectively.

We must all shun violence, because it will do us no good. It is time for us as a people to rise up and allow our differences to unite us and solidify our bond.
We must rise up in peaceful solidarity and let our voice be heard as we sue for peace.

No religion is more supreme than the other, the only supreme religion is God Almighty.

Have we ever asked ourselves why does the rich never allowed religion to create confusion among them? Why are the rich irrespective of their ethnic and religious inclination will not use it as a cloak to cause confusion among themselves?

The poor masses must wake up and come together and think of a way to build the right platform for the rise and success of Nigerianalism.

We need to write a new narrative on how to live in unity. We need to promote peaceful accommodation, to be sincere in the preaching of our two religions, both preaches peace and love, we should be just once we stick to the teachings of our religion.

When we are united, we can build the Nigerianalization that we seek.

New tolerance is the only way to peaceful coexistence.
Happiness is local; Peace is the only way to national sustainable growth and development.
